Want to be a Landscape Gardener?

A Landscape Gardener or architect is responsible for the outdoor space making it in an attractive way. To create the designs, the architects need to use computer software called CAD (computer-aided Design). It provides both creative and practical support to transform your garden.

In most cases, the landscape gardener begins with an initial client to look at the garden and discuss client needs and what they are looking for out of it. This is usually followed by a survey. On the 2nd meeting, this is to discuss generally about the budget and a more precise plan. The garden designer then starts to put into place the concept and ideas, with a working master plan with 3D perspectives. Once it is finished, the specifications are passed on to landscape contractors to price accurately.

Whenever starting a landscaping project, a consideration you should look at is what kind of tools do you need? If you are new to the job, finding the right tools is very important, so talk to one of the representative at World of Mowers who will help you to choose the right ones. Choosing the right tools for your projects makes gardening much easier. High quality ones will provide you with many years of good service when they are properly cared for.

Different basic tools:

Trowels: small hand tools with a scoop for moving dirt. Those are used to dig small holes.

Shovels: most people use them to dig out a flower or vegetable bed in preparation for planting.

Garden Forks: used to make deep cuts into soil, making it easier to turn over large chunks. It is a good tool for cultivating and working soil into manageable sizes

Pruning, trimming and cutting tools: Pruning shears are needed for trimming up shrubs, trees and many landscape plants. The best tools used for trimming are heavy-duty loppers.

A Review of the Lawnflite Lawn Mowers Range

Choosing the right lawn mower for you and your garden depends on a series of factors, most importantly the size and shape of your garden. Other things to consider, however, are lawn finish and how you wish to collect your grass cuttings. The Lawnflite mowers range has a fantastic selection of models to choose from to suit any garden.

Electric Lawnflite Lawn Mowers:
Electric lawn mowers, such as the Lawnflite E33WUK electric lawn mower, are ideal for smaller gardens. This models 33cm/13 cut enables it to work a lot faster than many other small lawn mowers on the market. There are many features on this model that will help to reduce your lawn cutting time, such as the grass bag that has a capacity of 50 litres, which means fewer trips back and forth to the compost heap. As well as this it’s a bargain at only £64.99.

Petrol Lawnflite Lawn Mowers:
The lawnflite 46 SPOHW petrol mower is a fantastic choice for medium size gardens. It’s self drive and has a large cutting width of 46cm/18 and a 70 litre grass box all designed to reduce your lawn cutting time. A special feature of this model is the high rear wheels, which improves manoeuvrability and enables the mower to travel over rough terrain.

Lawnflite Garden Tractor Mowers:
Garden Tractor mowers are ideally suited to large gardens. The Lawnflite 604GLH garden tractor has a cutting width of 76cm/30 making it perfectly suited to gardens between three quarters to one and a half acres. A great feature of this model is its tight turning circle of only 46cm/18, which is considerably smaller than many garden tractors of a similar size. An important feature of this model is the fan assisted deck; this increases the air flow in the deck and improves the grass collection ability.

Lawnflite Mulching Mowers:
A mulching mower such as the Lawnflite JE135H Garden tractor cuts the grass cuttings into fine pieces and then recycles them back into the lawn. This system is great for medium to large gardens as there is no need to empty the grass collection bag each time it is filled.

The Lawnflite lawn mowers range available at World of Mowers are built and designed to the highest standards with special features such as a powder coated finish, which greatly reduces the risk of rust damaging your lawn mower. The lawnflite range is designed with the user in mind with added special features, designed to make mowing your lawn easier and more enjoyable.
